So much musical talent in Cheadle

There is so much musical talent in Cheadle and our Afternoon Tea and Performances was a lovely afternoon showcasing a few of the very active groups in the area. The Guild Hall was laid out for afternoon tea and attendees were treated to wonderful performances from the Alton Handbell Ringers, Uke3A with their ukeleles, and the Cheadle and District Community Choir.

We hope very much to repeat a similar event next year. In the mean time if anyone would like to have a try at any of these activities the meeting times are as follows:

Cheadle & District Community Choir meets Thursdays at 5.30pm at Bishop Rawle School. (Parking and entrance via the rear playground - see signage 'Staff & Visitor Parking'.

Alton Handbell Ringers rehearse in Alton Village Hall on a Wednesday evening from 6:30 until 8:30pm, except the second Wednesday in the month when they ring from 2:30pm until 4:30pm.

Uke3A are one of the many active U3A groups in Cheadle. They meet on Thursdays, 10.00 - 12.00 in the Guild Hall.
