Whodunit?

The U3A drama group just did it, that's who.

The Murder Mystery evening was a lot of fun. We all love a typical 1920s country house double murder, with a wide choice of lah-di-da schemers and dotty below-stairs suspects. There were so many potential perps and sub plots that many in the audience were scribbling notes and chewing the ends of their pencils between slurps of beer/vino. When it came to interrogating the characters, the audience were sharp-witted and fired lots of clever questions. Congratulations to local playwright Margaret Ede, director Dave Shooter and all the cast for keeping us guessing.

Cheadle Cricket Club was a great venue for this event, with Amelia and Ben doing a super job on the bar.

It was a lovely atmosphere all evening (as pictured). The empty chair was for the prompter, and even he raised a laugh 😆. Am dram at its best👌
